📍 First Stop: Tarifa
We’ll start our day in Tarifa, the City of the Wind, a unique place where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Stroll through its charming whitewashed streets full of history, discover hidden corners, and enjoy the special atmosphere of this town, where Europe and Africa seem almost close enough to touch. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants, where you can taste regional specialties such as the famous Almadraba bluefin tuna or the excellent Retinta beef (lunch is not included, but our guide will be happy to recommend and reserve a table at one of the best restaurants in town).
📍 Second Stop: Bolonia
Our journey continues to Baelo Claudia, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Iberian Peninsula. Walk through its ancient temples, forum and market while enjoying breathtaking views over one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. You’ll also have some free time to relax on the golden sand or, if you’re lucky, spot the famous Retinta cows wandering peacefully along the beach.
📍 Last Stop: Vejer de la Frontera
Our final stop is Vejer de la Frontera, widely considered one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia. We’ll explore its historic centre until we reach the beautiful Plaza de España, one of the town’s most iconic squares, known for its colourful tiled fountain and relaxed atmosphere. From there, we’ll wander through the narrow streets of the old Jewish Quarter, a maze of whitewashed houses, flower-filled patios and picturesque corners that still preserve the charm of medieval times. It’s the perfect way to end a day discovering some of the most authentic places in the province of Cádiz.
